.Hello there guys and sorry for this being my first post but i need some help before the misses goes even madder at not being able to use the hot tub We acquired a friends Del Sol Redondo hot tub about 3/4 years when they moved off to Spain. It has been working great up until last year when the control panel no longer functioned properly (some times it would start, not getting the temp up correctly, bubbles not coming on properly). After a lot of looking around for the part (very hard to find about this tub in the UK), we managed to get the part and I installed it last month with no probs.
Started it up with out the filter in and all was good. Let it run for a bit and temp was going up nicely and all looked good. Put the filter back into it and placed the cover back over to get nice and warm. Cam back a little later and was getting up to temp nicely.A little later, found out that it had stopped pumping and a FLO error had come up. Turned it all off and made sure the filter was in correct, which it was.
Nothing had gotten into the pipes to stop the flow either. Turned it all back on only to find 3 dashes on the display now and it will not start pumping. Ive made sure there is not an airlock in the pipes but apart from that im at a loss.I can not find any manuals online for it to help me out. Was wondering if it needs a re set some how but i do not know how to do that eben. Water tem- peratures between 100 °F (38 °C) and 104 °F (40 °C) are considered safe for a healthy adult. Lower water temperatures are recommended for young children and when hot tub use exceeds 10 minutes. C) At least two lugs marked “Bonding Lugs” are provided on the external surface or on the inside of the supply terminal box/compartment. To reduce the risk of electric shock, connect the local common bonding grid in the area of the hot tub to these terminals with an insulated or bare copper conductor not smaller than No.

The Consumer Products Safety Commission has stated that the water temperature in a hot tub should not exceed 104 °F (40 °C). 3.0 Locating Your Sundance Hot Tub IMPORTANT: Because of the combined weight of the hot tub, water and users, it is extremely important that the base upon which the hot tub rests be smooth, flat, level and capable of uniformly supporting this weight, without shifting or settling, for the entire time the hot tub is in place.
4.0 General Electrical Safety Instructions Your new Sundance hot tub is equipped with the 'state-of-the-art' Sentry equipment system. It contains the most advanced safety and self-protective equipment in the industry. Nonetheless, this hot tub must be installed prop- erly to insure dependable usage. Please contact your dealer or local building department should you have any questions regarding your installation. If you prefer, your Sundance dealer can perform a minor circuit board modi- fication to allow the hot tub to accept different electrical service. The opera- tional considerations of these modifications are listed in the footnotes below. CAMEO, OPTIMA, MARIN and ALTAMAR Models 240V/30A 240V/50A. ALWAYS TURN POWER TO THE HOT TUB OFF BEFORE CLEANING THE FILTER CARTRIDGE! To accomplish this, refer to the filter cleaning/ replacement procedure below: TURN POWER TO HOT TUB OFF! Filter DO NOT Reuse!Stage 1 Stage 2 filter filter (Reuseable) 1. Sundance dealer. Note: Nylon suction filters need to be cleaned periodically for optimum performance of all jets (See Figure-F, page 1 7).
Del Sol Redondo Hot Tub Owners Manual
1 1.2 Draining and Refilling About every 3 to 6 months, you will want to replace the hot tub’s water. The frequency depends on a number of variables including the frequency of use, number of users, attention paid to water quality maintenance, etc.
1 1.3 Mini Intelli-Jet Cleaning Procedure If you experience a sticky rotational Mini Intelli-Jet, perform the following cleaning procedure. In most of these cases debris is present in the jet bear- ings and must be cleared to achieve proper operation. Note: This procedure is considered normal maintenance for this type of jet. 1 1.4 Cleaning The Hot Tub Interior To preserve the sheen of your hot tub's surface, it is crucial that you avoid using abrasive cleaners or cleaners which have adverse chemical effect on the surface.
If you are not certain as to the suitability of a particular cleanser, consult your authorized Sundance Dealer. 1 1.7 Maintaining The Optional Synthetic Cabinet The optional synthetic cabinet requires little or no maintenance of any kind. To clean, simply wipe cabinet with a clean towel and mild detergent soap solution.CAUTION: Never spray cabinet with a garden hose for any reason since this action may induce an electrical short in the spa’s electrical equipment. Remove any remaining water from the footwell.
Turn the power to the hot tub back on briefly and press the AIR button to activate the air blower. This will evacuate the water from the air injector lines. (Note: Stand back to avoid the misty spray.) 5.
CAUTION: Never store hot tub chemicals inside the hot tub's equipment bay.12.1 pH Control pH is a measure of relative acidity or alkalinity of water and is measured on a scale of 0 to 14. The midpoint of 7 is said to be neutral, above which is alkaline and below which is acidic. 12.4 Optional SunZone Water Maintenance System If you have elected to have your hot tub equipped with the optional Sundance SunZone UV or SunZone CD water purification system you will find that your water stays fresh and clear with significantly less chemical sanitizer usage. If the hot tub water is more than 20 °F cooler than the temperature setpoint, the low speed pump #1 and heater will automatically activate to provide freeze protection. The hot tub will stay in this mode until the water temperature reaches 15 degrees below the set temperature.Communication between the control panel and/or remote control panel and circuit board is faulty. Contact your dealer or service organization. 'WATCHDOG' (Hot tub is deactivated) A problem has been detected which could cause damage to the hot tub or its components.
Contact your dealer or service organization. (continued on next page). (Note: This method must be used for the single speed pump (pump #2) of all Altamar, Cameo, Marin, and Optima models because pump #2 is not connected to the filter.) IMPORTANT: If freezing conditions exist and pump is not operational, take measures to protect the system from freeze damage. Check for dirty filters on all three pump 2 footwell suction covers (page 1 7).WATER IS TOO HOT.
Reduce thermostat setting (page 14). Reduce skimming/heating cycle length. Hello there guys and sorry for this being my first post but i need some help before the misses goes even madder at not being able to use the hot tubWe acquired a friends Del Sol Redondo hot tub about 3/4 years when they moved off to Spain.
Let it run for a bit and temp was going up nicely and all looked good.Put the filter back into it and placed the cover back over to get nice and warm. Cam back a little later and was getting up to temp nicely. A little later, found out that it had stopped pumping and a FLO error had come up. Turned it all off and made sure the filter was in correct, which it was. Nothing had gotten into the pipes to stop the flow either. Turned it all back on only to find 3 dashes on the display now and it will not start pumping.Ive made sure there is not an airlock in the pipes but apart from that im at a loss. I can not find any manuals online for it to help me out.Was wondering if it needs a re set some how but i do not know how to do that eben.Any advice or help would be wonderful.Thx a lot guysJoe.
