The problem seems to be happening to a lot of Teamviewer users. So, you are not alone. For some reasons, for some people, the system seems to identify the connection as “commercial” use. The only known fix until now is just to try after some time. A lot of people were able to fix the issue just by waiting for a little while. I'm posting this as a resource for anyone else having the issue of the 'connection blocked after timeout' message that never goes away, and also to complain (of course). Free TeamViewer Alternatives AnyDesk - probably the most comparable alternative to TeamViewer. As soon as i clicked it, W10 prompted me to link a microsoft (insider?) account, and teamviewer logged me out and blocked me. In order to get unblocked you need to go through a whole process to fill a form they want you to print and sign and then wait for whenever they will approve your usage or not.
I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 and have found that some normal/safe (ie. Govenerment ) websites are randomly being blocked.I had Norton antivirus which I blamed it on and uninstalled but the problem is still persisting.I have no other antivirus, only windows firewall.Even when I turn off windows firewall it still comes up that my internet access is blocked and that my firewall or antivirus may have blocked it. It happens in both Chrome and Edge. I do not believe it's related to my internet connection/service provideras the sites will open fine on my phone (connected to home internet).
